Hey everyone. I just got this polo saddle, more by mistake than anything else. I wasn't able to be there to look at it, and I thought my mother could do a decent job at least telling me about it. Needless to say, she measured it wrong, and it turned out to be a polo saddle. Lol. Looking to sell it now.
Really quite a nice saddle, made in Walsall, England. Older, as the woman who had owned it just died, and was quite old. In great condition though, the leather is not stiff or cracking at all. Any white on the pictures is from the conditioning cream I was using. It was supposed to "liquefy instantly" but it didn't. It should soak in though, otherwise I will just clean it off.
Ok, so it is 19", I am guessing more for a guy, esp. since it is a polo saddle. I think it is buffalo leather. I believe I found the place that made it, as they use the same leather, make their saddles in Walsall, England, and the stitching looks the same. But on the nailhead there are two cursive L's, but they are not finished. The last loop is not made on the bottom. You can see it in the pictures. If you know anything about the saddle, or have an opinion on what it would be worth, please do let me know!!!!
