There are two main reasons why we are doing this:
1) Keep interest in players coming to FL to play by offering good polo at a major reduced price.

2) Provide pros in FL with a little extra income to help get through this tough time.

I think if everone (pros/patrons) works together during these tough times Polo will stay strong while getting through it.

I guess to better answer your question is we have the pros (5-8 goals) but are just making it easier and less expensive for the patrons. Palm City polo provides everything but the helmet and boots for those who would like to play while visiting Florida to watch high goal. If your friend has a patron he would like to bring to Fl Mr Casey would surely work a deal with him.
I am sorry to say your friend is not alone in his delema....many pros here are sitting on the sideline hoping to find something just to pay the feed bill.

Hi Charlie;

It was great seeing out at Palm City last Saturday, together with Joey Casey, Peter Rizzo and others. Great game to watch, enjoyable, very fluid with few interruptions. Even nicer was perhaps the interaction with the new players who were so well supported by you pro's. Great to see them ride up the field at a signal, and have the ball placed exactly at their pony's front feet by one of you guys for an easy shot. That's what learning polo is all about, plus the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. More to come, plus some photos.

Three PCW members (of the 20 players that have come) have played at Palm City Polo and had a great time. If any other members are visiting Fl give Joey a call as the polo is a lot of fun.

For those considering a stay and visit to Palm City, I should add to my previous comment that whilst I was in Boca, I had the opportunity to brush up (read: dust off the cobwebs) with a stick and ball session with Joey. After 15 years it was great to experience the "Polo" feel again, not only being on a great pony, but to have such a gifted horseman and instructor coach me. Charlie was also active. Great people, great professionals, and a truly friendly atmosphere. Plus, there are excellent ponies for sale, anyone looking to buy should hurry and contact Joey or Charlie, I'll be back end of April to likely get my hands on a couple or more to bring back to Canada.
