About the best place to go in Argentina is La Aguada owned by the Novillo Astrada family. You can look on their website www.laaguadapolo.com or contact Will Emerson at wemerson@laaguadapolo.com to find out more.
I can recommend La Mariposa very much. It's not too pricy, the horses are great and it's a lot of fun... and this is a completely unbiased recommendation. I haven't been there for a couple of years and I have nothing to gain from the endorsement. :)
Hi Daniel, if you have the time to check our photos perhaps you can join us to play during the polo season, we can provide you with accomodation, horses, helmet and sticks.

Edgar

Hi Daniel, I was in the same situation like you, and made lots of research and talks recently. There are lots of schools, and it will depend on how much you can afford, regarding time and money, and what kind of polo you want to play. I found from U$ 150 to U$ 500/day, A little far away from BA I had really good impression about La Mariposa and El Venado. Nearby BA I really liked www.elrincondelpolo.com, but there others like paloalto, losrobles, don miguel etc. If you type "polo scholls in Argentina" you will have lots of info, and lots of photos in facebbok.
Good luck,
Eduardo Lucas Ferraz
