Searching for Polo near University Of Greenwich - London

Hello,
This is Ahmed from India; I will be in Greenwich / Greater London, for a year.
From September 2009 – September 2010.

I am in search of a polo club near the University of Greenwich.

Can any one suggest a club or can help me with a local polo contact who would guide me to a polo club where I could stick and ball, play some chukkas and may be take part in some tournaments.

And there is another piece of information I need, being an international student can I take part in the tournaments in U.K with my Indian Handicap or do I need to apply for a Handicap in HPA??

The drive from Greenwich via the M25 to the Sussex clubs is not that great. Probably an hour at most. We used to do it all the time. There are 5+ clubs in Sussex and will be quicker to get to than driving through central London to get the Berkshire Clubs.

Some may say though that you can go the other way round the m25 to get to the Herts based clubs, or up the M11.... endless possibilities actually! Anyway probably best to choose one that does dual summer and arena playing seeing as half of your time will be during the arena season.
