What is the Real Price of a polo property in Argentina?

What is the price of 1 hectare of good grass in argentina?
is it easy to invest in argentina?
why nobody put the price of properties on advertising?
what is the amount of taxes to pay each year?
what is the best place to invest or create a polo farm?(Pilar or Canuelas or gualegaychu?)
what is the difference between a farm and a polo farm? the price?
is it better to invest in Uruguay?
i hope a lot of people are interseted to have some answers!

Hi Pihilippe,
Too many questions !!! Seriously speaking, is quite easy investing in Argentina.
Best place to have a farm/place with polo fields ? Pilar, very close from Baires
Best place to have a breeding program ? Capitan Sarmiento area. 140 kms from Baires.
Of course that there are some other good places but those 2 are, in my opinion, the best if you want to be next to Baires (pilar) and buy the best land in Argentina for horse breeding ( cap srmiento )
Uruguay land quality is low compare to Argentine land, and its polo market maybe is the 10 % of Argentine market, or maybe smaller, but much cheaper

a lot of people in europe speak bad about Pilar : the reason insecurity!
and seriously 1 million dollar for 30/40 hectares?????
Canuelas seem better place and also more safe?
is it possible to find some good opportunities?
Los cardales seem to be a good place but may be expensive?
what is a price for a farm in capitan Sarmiento?

Rey in the last months I was consulted by many friends from Europe and the USA amongst others about buying a property in Argentina, with the idea to play polo here during the whole year or at least make a good investment. You may choose between a polo farm in Monte, Lobos and Cañuelas known as the “new gold triangle” in Argentina where most investors had bought properties, you have some 45 minutes form Ezeyza International Airport. Depending on the property, you may have to pay from 8000 USD per hectare to 18,000. As far as I know there are some 15 farms or small estancias, whose owners want to sell. Some of them have wonderful houses, parks, stables, swimming pools, polo fields, beautiful parks, with old trees; many gardens was designed by Charles Thays the famous Belgium garden designer who work since 1890 to the 1930’s. The cheapest you have to build the house, they have parks but most houses are just horrible. There are other choices, but not so close to the Airport, Pilar, General Rodriguez, Open Door, and Manzanares and even further near Capitan Sarmiento, where the traditional club “El Trebol” is located. I don’t work in real estate, but I do have lots of friends that this is their job. Just recently a friend of mine who has a large estancia not far away of Lobos and is a well known player and referee told me if you have anyone who wants to see e property that I do have close to my own house tell him to call me, if anybody wants to know more about properties in Argentina, including farmlands, just write me to my private email lafvwetzler@gmail.com.

Rey regarding Capitan Sarmiento you may pay from 14,000 USD to 20,000 depending how is the property and most of them you can buy with two purposes, polo and crops plus cattle, but is one of the best places in Argentina for agriculture with Pergamino, Salto, Chacabuco, Rojas, Lincoln, etc. I can give you the mails from at least four brokers in the area, kindest Luis
