Hi all, I am going to spend a short vacation in London in late July. Could anyone suggest a polo club nearby where to have some lessons/practicas. I am a -1 player and I wouldn't travel with personal horses. Thanks

Experienced coach, John Lister, will coach you on all aspects of polo regardless of your level. We also offer lessons for novices, even for those who have never ridden a horse before! Hi there all. Just wanted to introduce myself. Im very new to the wrold of Polo. Ive been involved in motorsport for the last 19 years but i retired last year . Since retiring , moving back to Devon and working in and around London ive realised life is very different and my friends all seem to married with children and still very much involved with the racing.
I was introduced (in a round about way )to the game of Polo by a friend and since have become hooked on the game the social scene and everything it has to offer.Im afraid ,that although ive been surrounded by horses ive never actually riden so i am a complete novice but if anyone wants to teach me ;)....
Its something im doing on my own at the moment and ive picked the wrong time of year to appreciate this game.
So...........im planning ahead for the 2009 season and thought i might get the opportunity to make some new friends her and across the water.
Next year events like the Cartier ,the gold Cup are definatley on my list along with The Derby and the Grand National.
The parties seem fantastic as well.
I have joined The Button club and a few groups on facebook and look foward to making new friends. Please dont hesitate to say hi. Im on facebook as Richard Austin Rees . Please say hello and let me know whats going on in the Uk over the winter. Party invites always accepted ;)

Dear Players, Members & Friends,

Please do not forget to book your tables/places at the Ham Polo Club's Annual Summer Ball on Friday 25th July. Theme this year will be "From Russia with Love" so expect to see a few Aston Martins around the place as well as the `Bumper Cars' as usual. 8 till very late - the best ball in the UK polo community - come and have fun!! Tickets available through office@hampoloclub.com - £130 per head – Vodka Luge, casino, Live band, disco, champagne cocktails and 3 course seated dinner with wine.

Hello Everyone!
I`m looking forward contact someone of the UK POLO Association. I`ve tried emailing the addresses in the website, but seems like I`m not having any success...
Does anybody have contact with them? I`m trying to contact the Team/representatives of the Association going to play the World Championship in MEXICO for UK.
I`d really apreciate if someone can send me a msg with some references...
