We played in Gilgit last Nov - see the april PoloTimes - and we're playing in Shandur prelim matches this year. Check out my pics - it was unbelievable fun.

We have a deal with the Northern Polo Association to mount players and provide all logistics - but you've got to remember you need at least a week to acclimatize before you can play, as it's 16000 feet. We'll probably ride up - 5 days, but you acclimatise on the way - from Gilgit (5600 feet) instead of sitting in an uninhabited valley waiting to learn to breath,

We're doing this year a test run - so pull in.

I will be very interested to see how they structure the random or mandatory testing. FEI, if I recall correctly, has mandatory testing of all horses at high levels of competition, and all winners at all FEI sanctioned events. I will go and read it again, since it has been several years.
