Just landed back in NYC for the next two weeks, and already missing my ponies! I'm glad to be back though despite the gloomy weather. I think it's sunnier in the UK at the moment! Anything going on in the polo scene around here the next two weeks?...

Awesome! wish i could have been there! I know the feeling...PCW eases the pain though. Ye apparently there was a lot of interest. I'll be in Spain in July but good luck with the new job. I'm sure we will bump into each other somewhere....the polo world is small after all.
Hey Nacho,
How did the Nationals go? i heard someone was looking for me at the Polo del Sol tent...was it you? I couldn't make it in the end, unfortuantely no one was driving from London on Saturday!
All the best

Hi, Sudan is interesting for sure, I ride horses from Darfur area which are cattle horses, I train two at a time and bring them into polo. We play 3 a side or full sides on weekends, just being on a horse is fun. Summer is here so horses are rested some, but I still exercise them some so they dont forget me. I am pasionate about the game and its people, and have 3 kids all starting the game, so maybe one day I will be a Patron Pappa all in one.... Rickster
Ciao Ignacio!
I am actually from California, I play polo in Vicenza, I shipped my ponies to Italy last year, to escape the snobby atmospher on the grass at Santa Barbara PC. I am at a club called Veneto Polo, that is my dream of what I want from polo, true gentleman's polo, the horses are the number 1 priority, the people are wonderful, and it is incredibly beautiful!
I am pleased to hear you have a wonderful polo coach, he sounds a lot like John Westley at SBPC.
Take care, and have a fabulous spring season!
Smile!
Trisha
Ciao Ignacio,
I like your photos, great feeling to them. I started playing polo with a man name John Westley, he is the head of the college teams at Santa Barbara PC, they always do quite well, and his men's team from Westmount, are headed to the finals again this year.
I would not have stuck with polo if it were not for John, he is salt of the earth kind of man, none of that snobby polo BS...
Best to you,
Trisha
