The Olympics are no longer a true "amateur" forum. Look at basketball. The American team consists of pro players - no amateurs. Also, although I don't know, I believe that more countries play polo than are involved in the other equestrian events.

Polo was part of the Olympic programme in 1900, 1908, 1920, 1924 and 1936. With this site, and specifically this group, together we demostrate our support for the FIP in its lobbying of the IOC to reinstate Polo into the Olympics
Joe, how does the lens perform when wide open? Decent depth, color, etc? Also, how is the bokeh?

Linda, I use the same lens...I also add a 1.4 converter. Also use this lens for auto & motorcycle racing. Still feel that a really long fast lens - like a 300mmor 400mm is better. But...that's a lot of weight to lug around
