Dear Polo Fans, I will be travelling to Argentina for the Open and was wondering if anyone has some good suggestions for playing polo and beach riding with the polo ponies? In addiiton, I am very keen to either adopt or purchase a retired polo pony, please note, I live In Germany, close to Frankfurt... does anyone have some ideas? This has got nothing to do with horses and polo, but may help me pay for such an expensive thing! Polo Season Started in Buenos Aires, Argentina !!!!

The high handicap Polo Open Championship began September 22nd organized (first) by Tortugas Country Club. This first event will be the Emilio Anchorena Cup which together with Hurlingham Club and Palermo are part of the Triple Crown of Argentine Polo Teams with the greatest handicap in the world will participate, including La Dolfina and Ellerstina, both with 40 goals. The last match (of Tortugas) will be played on Saturday 10th. Continue

I use polo ponies to teach and train chidren that do not have the most perfect lives. It motiates the children and keeps them off the streets.
