Recently I've been speaking with a great friend of mine - the brilliant polo author Hugh Dawnay - about the application of fouls during the 2009 Argentine Open. Responding to the first ever Polo Referendum, held on the Polo Contacts web site, the majority voted for adding to the current list of fouls ,… Continue

Wellington -- January 3, 2010. The 2010 Polo season was off to a brisk start. The polo was fast, the wind nipped at ponies and people's heels and there was a definite bite to the air. Dear Polo Friends,
I am based near Frankfurt in Germany and looking to buy a retired polo pony for riding/hacking in the fields close to where I live.
Is anyone looking to sell their retired pony (or knows of anyone) in Germany/Europe? I have a lot of riding experience and truly will promise a very good home!
I look forward to any suggestions!
